The Lithium Machining Crack Check Die features an incredibly unique design and has been through years of testing and updating on the INEX Case Processing Autodrive. Thanks to Mark Attansio over at Immortobot, you can now have it wired into your autodrive of choice.
This product is intended to work in the last station on your press. After the casing is deprimed and sized, the Crack Check Die will detect cracks, internal steps, dinged necks, low internal volume, wrong calibers, etc. Having to seal the flash hole in order to create a seal on the mouth of the casing allows us to set the die to reject casings that are too long or too short. (EXAMPLE: When processing 9mm we can reject 38 spl, 380 auto, and even 9mm makarov when it is set properly!)
Currently the die is only being sold in its 9mm configuration. This is pretty versatile and will work for casing lengths of 9mm luger and up to 10mm. Other options will be available soon.
